This policy explains how BupaBooker uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser that help a website remember information about your visit.
1. The short version
We only use cookies that are needed to run the site and remember your preferences. We do not use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell information about your browsing.
2. Cookies we set
On secure (HTTPS) connections, the sign-in cookies may carry a __Secure- prefix.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| better-auth.session_token | Keeps you signed in and protects your session. | Up to 7 days, renewed while you stay active |
| better-auth.two_factor | Remembers that you are part-way through two-factor sign-in, if you use it. | A few minutes |
| better-auth.last_used_login_method | Remembers how you last signed in (email or Google) so we can highlight it. | 30 days |
| theme | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. | 1 year |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers your language. | Up to 1 year |
| sidebar_state | Remembers whether the dashboard sidebar is open or collapsed. | 7 days |
3. Local storage
Your browser's local storage may also hold your theme preference so the page doesn't flash the wrong colours while loading.
4. Third-party cookies
When you pay for a watch, you are taken to a checkout page hosted by Stripe, which sets its own cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud. If you sign in with Google, Google sets its own cookies on its sign-in pages. These cookies are controlled by Stripe and Google under their own policies.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because the cookies we set are needed for the site to work, blocking them will stop you from signing in and using your dashboard.
6. Changes and contact
If we start using other types of cookies, such as analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required. Questions? Email [email protected]. For more on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.
